E-Z INFO:

Both the E-Z 45°  and the E-Z 90° easily adjust to cut 1" up to about 2.5" diameter tenons at the ends of logs and branches.

The maximum log diameter each cutter will handle is about 4.5".

Any 1/2" drill can be used for both cutters and countersink, however we recommend using a drill with a side handle for added support.

A 3/8" pilot hole needs to be drilled at the end of the log or branch prior to cutting the tenon.  The Cutter's guide bar is then inserted into the pilot hole.  This holds the drill steady so that a smooth and consistent tenon is achieved.

Hex keys are provided for adjusting tenon diameters and for replacing blades.

A 3/8" drill bit is also included to drill pilot holes.

Replacement cutting blades are available.  Please note that they are NOT interchangeable.  Be sure to order blades for either the E-Z 45°  or the E-Z 90° .  (The blade for the 90 is slightly shorter.)

The arms of the E-Z 45° and E-Z 90° both fit onto the same shaft.  If you purchase the kit, you will receive one shaft, two 45°  arms, and two 90° arms.

You can make consistent tenon lengths by using a stop or piece of tape on the pilot drill bit or on the cutter shaft.
