The EZ Mortise Countersink Bit is NOT a drill bit.  It is countersink bit used to countersink the edge of the mortise so that the shoulders of the 45-degree tenons fit deeper into the mortise.  Two bushings are included, one is for a 1-1/2″ mortise, and the other is for a 2″ mortise, which are the most common tenon sizes.  They are secured to the bit with set screws.  You simply secure the bushing that you will be using on the end of the bit, and you can store the other bushing on the top of the bit.  They can both remain on the countersink bit even when is use.  The bushings are milled slightly smaller than the size of the mortise bit so that they do not bind up during use.  You must first drill your mortise using a forstner or flat spade bit.  Once the mortise is drilled, you insert the countersink into the mortise and slowly start countersinking the edges of the mortise.  You may have to drill deeper mortises so that the log tenon can be inserted deeper.
